As a previous student of the University, Craig is looking forward to contributing to a place which was a formative part of his own training as an Architect.
This is a part-time role which will feed into the work of the practice.
Practice and teaching benefit each other - bringing together the fresh thinking of students with the experience of a practising professional.
Craig will be working with 2nd and 3rd architecture students as well as 4th year students who are additionally studying environmental engineering.
As the UK moves towards net zero, this duel training of Architects is essential.
Craig was the first in his family to go to University and is genuinely passionate about the social value of education.
This new role builds on his existing teaching experience at Lincoln and Sheffield Universities and of been a past mentor with Open Cities ‘Accelerate’ course. This pioneering programme supports young people from state schools from under-represented backgrounds in their journey towards higher education in the built environment.
