Awarded best purpose built accommodation in the East Midlands at the recent LABC Awards 2024, the building is zero carbon and surpasses all current and future planned energy standards.

Before founding the practice, Craig worked with Allan Joyce Architects in Nottingham. For this building he was the Project Architect throughout the construction stage - leading a team of consultants - and the Contract Administrator, inspecting the building work, managing contracts and certifying payments.

The school of architecture at Nottingham is one if the most highly regarded in the UK. It is multidisciplinary with Architects training alongside Engineers.
Craig’s appointment is a reflection of his abilities and experience as an Architect.

This award is the most prestigious in the UK for architecture and with Craig having worked with previous winners, he has a keen interest in the shortlisted and winning projects each year.

Last night saw the award go to the new Elizabeth Line in London - a remarkable collaboration between architects and engineers.

Our personal favourite from the 6 shortlisted projects was Wraxall Yard by Clementine Blakemore Architects.
